Dear Middlemiss family

As long term friends of Albert we wish to extend our condolences to all of your family on his passing. Over the past 30 years members of my family have visited Albert and Daisy at both Tadworth and Weybridge, and in between they have visited us here in Melbourne.

Albert to us was a true gentleman who could not do enough to make you welcome or to make our stay as pleasant and trouble-free as possible. He lived a very interesting life and his company was always immensely enjoyed. Even friends who accompanied myself on various holidays over there were taken in and nothing was too much trouble.

When my daughter Jacqui attended Oxford for an exchange University semester, he was an enormous help at various times and she has forever been grateful for this. She was the last of our family to visit him when he was with Jennifer in 2019 (last time when life was still normal). I will miss our contact. We all will miss him being around, but he lived a very full and long life and we are thankful for having known him.
